| Julia Simmons Biography Julia holds a BFA in Painting from the University of Georgia and a GraduateDegree from the Portfolio Center in Atlanta. She has pursued both fine art and commercial art, working for several years as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator before returning to what she loves most, painting. Her most recent work recalls her past. Deeply rooted in a love for horses and raised in a small rural town in Georgia, she reflects on a childhood spent on horseback. Mixed media Gouache on 19th century architectural ceiling tiles serve as the story board for this communication between man and horse. | |
